Syllabus Outline

Unit 1

Introduction to Precision Agriculture: Concepts, core components, and global significance. Remote Sensing applications, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS) tools, and Variable Rate Technology (VRT) for site-specific nutrient management.

Unit 2

Drone Technology in Agriculture: Types of agricultural Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), sensor payloads (Multispectral, Thermal, RGB), flight planning, and DGCA regulations. Drone-based crop health monitoring, imagery analytics, and precision aerial spraying protocols.

Unit 3

IoT & Smart Gadgets: Internet of Things (IoT) architecture in farming. Deploying soil moisture sensors, automated micro-irrigation controller nodes, smart weather stations, and utilizing real-time cloud dashboards for smart decision-making.
